- Since 1971 Research trips to Italy, Greece, Turkey, France, Spain, United Kingdom, Ireland, Netherlands and Germany (Drawings, portraits and painting)
- Apprentice under Prof. Oskar Emmenegger Luzern and Graubünden, Switzerland as an architectural model builder, restorer and conservator for murals, canvas and panel art pieces, sculptures, fresco and secco technique, altars in wood and stone from 14th to 18th century.
- 1975 – 1981 Arts and Crafts School in Zurich, Art School of Colour and Form in Zurich
- 1980 Beginning in free lance set design for performing art including Enya Clannad’s concert “Crann Ull” (Apple Tree) and its TV documentary
- 1983 – 1987 Public and private commissions for the restoration of murals, architecture and canvas paintings
- Since 1987 Freelance artist, painting and art in architecture
- Since 1988 Taught private and group classes
- Since 1998 Producing his own paper, called Hanakami
- 2003 Won invitational competition for art in architecture for Kasumi – Classroom Building 4, Elisabeth-Stiftung Birkenfeld, Germany
- 2006 – 2007 Conducted workshops at the New York Academy of Art
- 2010 Art and set assitance for Sonya’s Story (adapted from Chekhov’s Uncle Vanya) world premiere as opera – with Charles Phu, London, United Kingdom
- 2011 Art assistant and painting effects for Galina Ulanova 100th anniversary – Russian Ballet Icone – English National Opera London, Stage Design and Lighting Concept: Charles Phu
- 2011 Second place – Europe-wide invitational competition for art in architecture – Max-Planck-Institut for Chemistry Mainz, Germany
